Mariam Mutakubwa, the proprietor of Biggie Events, rose to fame following Chameleon’s botched concert, which was disrupted by strong wind and rain.
She went on to stage other concerts along the way, with the most recent being “Lord Fred Sebatta at 42 Years,” which took place at the Serena Hotel in Kampala.
However, Biggie faced troubles with Fred Sebatta after he accused her of failing to fulfill her promises, including not paying for the Masaka event.
Now, reports have emerged indicating that Biggie Events company has gone bankrupt and lacks the funds to continue operating.
According to letters seen by this website, two top managers of the company, including the managing director, resigned from their positions and embarked on other ventures.
Other reports indicate the company has failed to account for funds they have received over time from General Salim Saleh, and this mismanagement is reportedly leading to trouble and the subsequent resignation of the top managers.
Before this controversy, Mariam Mutakubwa, the proprietor of Biggie Events, had announced taking a break from organizing secular music shows and shifting her focus to Islamic events.
